There will be several activations this month to raise awareness about sustainability and environmental issues throughout Earth Month. These events are free and open to the public:
Event: Bike New York and Recycle-A-Bicycle
Date and Time: April 15, 10AM-12PM
Location: Fulton Street
Bike New York will hold a kid’s bike education class to help kids learn the skills to enjoy biking. Recycle-A-Bicycle, a branch within Bike New York, will be there as well offering free bike repairs. The program will occur once a month through November.

Event: Sing for Hope
Date and Time: April 20, 1-3PM
Location: Oculus
Sing for Hope will perform on the Oculus Floor in honor of Earth Day. They will highlight Earth-themed songs such as The Beatles'
"Here Comes the Sun" and Handel's Water Music Collection, among many others!
Event: Rock Your Love for the Earth
Date and Time: April 21, 12-2PM
Location: North Oculus Plaza
Join us for a rock painting event to transform ordinary rocks into beautiful works of art with environmentally friendly paint. Materials will be provided and participants can keep their rocks or donate them for display in Liberty Park for a few weeks following the event.
Event: Oculus Off-Lighting
Date and Time: April 22
Every year on Earth Day, WTC turns off the Oculus' vanity lights as an energy conservation effort to help reduce overall energy usage and bring awareness to energy consumption.
